Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Service
January 14, 2018
We Invite you to join us on January 14, 2018 at 3pm at St. Paul AME Church for an unforgettable celebration of life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year will mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Dr. King. He was a young, driven man, who fought valiantly for the rights and equality of all Americans. Dr. King could not be silenced, dissuaded or defeated in his quest to live in a nation where people would “not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”. For these reasons, we celebrate his life, his accomplishments, and we allow his legacy a driving force to promote change in our communities even today.
Please join us as we celebrate Dr. King’s life and unite to make a difference in the lives of others.
“Use me, God. Show me how to take show I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.” – Dr. King.
